We often come across some regularly asked questions from our customers, so in order to help you further we have made a list of them below to assist with any queries you may have.
Q. How can your prices be so competitive when you are mobile? MQ Mobile Tyres is purely a mobile business, therefore we do not have the overheads of premises, keeping costs low to provide very competitive prices. We are equipped to offer our customers a huge range of branded tyres and services despite only being a mobile service.
Q. Do you do a same day service? We have a large range of tyres in stock and in most cases can offer the same day service. It is however advisable to ring early to avoid disappointment. If you require a specific tyre, please contact us where we will be able to help and advise you further. Q. Is MQ Mobile Tyres a franchise? No, MQ Mobile Tyres is a locally run, independent company owned by Michael Quince who has over 20 years tyre fitting experience. We only use our own dedicated fitters and do not use 3rd parties to fit our tyres! Q. How much space do you need to be able to carry out the work? Only a small amount of space is required. If you can open and close your vehicle door then there is generally enough space for us to work within, any more than that is an added bonus! Q. When do I pay? We do not take any form of payment from you until the tyre work is complete. We accept a variety of payment options including cash, cheque and major credit cards. Q. Do you attend roadside breakdowns? Yes we are able to assist you with your requirements at the roadside however, there is an additional charge for this service. Q. Can you replace my tyres without damaging my alloy wheels? Absolutely; our aim is to provide you with excellent customer service with the utmost respect for your vehicle. Our tyre fitting machines are capable of replacing 4 x 4, low profile and run flat tyres. Please remember that most vehicles with alloys will have a locking wheel nut. This will be needed to remove the wheels. Q. Do I need to know my tyre size and where do I find it? To help you as much as possible it is essential to provide us with the correct tyre size and vehicle make to gain a quotation. The tyre size can be found on the sidewall of your tyre. Please be aware that some vehicles have different tyre sizes on the front and rear of the vehicle.

Tyre Tread and Wear Indicators
Tyre wear indicators are visible when the tyre needs changing. Below is a diagram showing a worn tyre indicating where the wear indicators are positioned. If your tyres reach this level they must be changed immediately to prevent any further damage and to increase the handling of the car.
